This journey has been specifically tailored for those who have shorter leave periods or would just like to sample mobile camping before moving on to lodge accommodation. It has been scheduled for departure during the months of February and April, when the Nxai Pan’s rainy season attracts the zebra mega herd as well as various plains game (and the predators who accompany them) to the now filled waterholes and lush grazing. Enjoy a brilliant combination of water and land activities in the Delta that range from game drives and bush walks to mokoro excursions and fishing.

Luggage: A strict luggage restriction of 20kg per person, including hand luggage, applies to all light aircraft flights within Botswana. It is important that you carry soft-sided or “barrel” bags, as hard-sided suitcases cannot be fitted into the small holds of light aircraft.

Your adventure begins in Maun, where you will meet your guide and embark on a flight to the glorious Okavango Delta. Experience a wonderful two night’s stay, on the banks of a seasonal waterway, overlooking the celebrated Moremi Game Reserve. Here you will be truly spoilt for choice with the assortment of excellent wildlife sightings in the area. From your pristine surrounds in the Okavango Delta you will enjoy the same renowned wildlife sightings commonly associated with the Moremi Game Reserve.
Next, you will again hop aboard a light aircraft that will take you the famous Nxabega concession, in the Okavango Delta, where you stay for two nights at the beautiful Nxabega Trails Camp. Here you will experience an adventure-filled mix of water and land activities from game drives to mokoro and catch-and-release fishing. Please note that the water based activities are seasonal.
Nxai Pan National Park
On the final leg of your journey you will be flown to Maun and then driven to the dramatic landscapes of the glorious Nxai Pans, where breathtaking vast open spaces, with desert-like pans, await. During the rainy season, this area bursts into life and invites various animals, including the awe-inspiring zebra migration, to congregate around its waterholes. Adventures include game drives, stargazing and the opportunity to venture to the giant baobabs in the area.
Today, your guide will accompany you to Maun and will wave a fond farewell as you board your flight homeward from Maun International Airport.
Your accommodation will be in one of three spacious expedition dome tents (4 metres x 4 metres in size). Each tent also features an ensuite bathroom (3 metres x 3 metres in size) with a separate w.c. and hot bucket shower.

Reservations are established when you receive written confirmation and acceptance of the deposit and Booking Form. Travel insurance is strongly recommended at the time of booking.
Cancellations must be advised in writing to Adventure Associates. Cancellation charges are subject to regulations of airlines, coach and tour operators, hotels and other principals involved. If it is necessary to cancel your arrangements, the following non-refundable charges will apply.

If the cancellation charge is more than your advance payment you remain liable for the difference. For these and other reasons mentioned above you are strongly recommended to take out Travel Insurance. Once the Land Tour has departed there will be no refund for any unused portions of the trip.
